The latest two months I have honed my skill in sculpting, shape language and texturing. What do I have to show for it? A spunky Shiba Inu girl named Kara

First, a little backstory: I wanted to create a cute avatar for a reasonable price, but also focusing on good shape language in the mesh. I wanted to make something with a cute snoot and very expressive. Something with heart and something that shows how much I've grown making avatars.


I wanted to go back to where I started and learn more about sculpting. I decided to not rely on flat shaders, but make an avatar look good with the mesh.


I went trough very many iterations of designs, colours and shapes. Different species as well. But then it came to me. Who doesn't love dogs?

That is when Kara- VRChat avatar was born.


So what is this tall fluffball?

This tall VRChat avatar is a leggy Shiba Inu with a waggy tail who loves summer and parties. She is very headstrong and loves to show it with her emotes! This little puppy will get lots of free updates over time.

What you get

Kara, VRChat avatar is set up for SDK3 and includes:

  • Full facial visemes
  • Eye tracking + blink
  • Png texture files
  • Substance Painter files - for easy editing (spp)
  • Dynamic on hair, ears, tail and chest
  • "Set up" PDF
  • Five emotes ( angry, happy, sad, blep, cool )
  • High quality render



DO's and DON'T's:

  • Do: Customize and edit the model the way you want for yourself.
  • Do: Commissions or being commissioned, but only from people who themselves own the avatar
  • Do: Use Kara, VRChat avatar for Youtube and Twitch but you need to credit me (@artofnessa)
  • Don't: Resell, redistributing of ANY kind of the Kara, VRChat avatar files is not allowed
  • Don't: Sell subproducts of the model (3D prints, badges, etc...)
  • Don't: Upload the avatar as Public
  • Don't: Sell other species/edits made out of the model
